ELIGIBILITY FOR COMPETITION:
One must be:
•a female between the ages of 17-23
•a high school graduate before July 30, 2011
•no older than 24 years of age before Dec 31, 2011
•a permanent resident for at least 6 months prior to the date of the pageant and either live, work, fulltime or be a full time student in the state of Georgia
ORIENTATION
There will not be an Orientation this year!
REHEARSAL
The mandatory rehearsal for the pageant will begin at 3:00 p.m. on that Saturday, September 25th 2010 at the college.
REQUIRED FORMS
You must use the required forms listed below. If the contestant is under the age of 18 the forms will need a parent’s signature. Contract will need to be notarized.

PHOTOGRAPH
We request a clear headshot photograph. It is advisable to be at least a 4x6 or 5x7 for clearer content when printed in the program book. We request a black and white photo.
AD SALES
Although there is NO official entry fee we encourage you to have a sponsor. The cost of a full page ad is $100, half page ad is $75 and quarter page ad is $50 and business card size is $25.
TALENT REQUEST
(CD is required before September 4th deadline)
In case of two requests for the same music, the contestant whose form is received first will be allowed to use the music. MUSIC CD cannot exceed 90 seconds in time.
JUDGING CRITERIA
The scoring is as follows:
Private Interview 25%, Talent 35%, Swimsuit 15%, Onstage Question 5%, Eveningwear 20%
INTERVIEW
Each contestant completes a private 10 minute interview with the judges. Each contestant will have a 30 second closing. Dress as you would for a business interview.
TALENT
TIME LENGTH CANNOT EXCEED 90 SECONDS. CD's only...NO TAPES.
Each CD should have the contestant's name on the CD. A master CD will be developed which contains each talent selection as well as production music. The CD will be returned after the pageant. You should retain another CD to use for practice.
ON STAGE QUESTION
Contestants will be judged on their responses to one on stage question of a general nature or related to platform.
SWIMSUIT
Swimsuits will be approved prior to competition. Swimsuit must be in good taste, one or two piece is acceptable-NO THONGS! Contestants may wear shoes or go barefoot.
EVENING WEAR
Contestants may wear an evening wear outfit of her choice. Eveningwear may be pants or an evening gown.



CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK
All contestant's competing in a local preliminary are REQUIRED to complete the Service Requirement of raising $100 for the CMN. This is a tax deductible donation. Contestants are not required to handle any money. All fundraising may be done via the internet and mail. Please visit the official website at: www.missamerica4kids.org.
